Mainframe System Monitoring Suite

• Technologies Used: z/OS, REXX, JCL, USS, HTML/CSS
• Designed and developed a modular system monitoring solution for IBM z/OS environments using the REXX programming language.
• Created monitors for critical system metrics including CPU utilization, storage capacity, and active job tracking, with externally configured alert thresholds.
• Built a modern, web-based HTML dashboard to visualize system health and display historical performance data, demonstrating knowledge of both traditional and modern mainframe interfaces.

• Developing a multi-module application from scratch using standard COBOL to simulate a student social/registration system.
• Implementing core program logic for features like user authentication, profile management, and data handling.
• Designing and managing sequential and indexed file structures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Responsible for compiling, testing, and debugging all COBOL modules to ensure correct program flow and error-free output.

Computer Vision: Object Detection & Image Resizing

• Technologies Used: Python, OpenCV, NumPy
• Developed an object detection program that identifies and matches keypoints in images by implementing the SIFT (Scale-Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm.
• Created a content-aware image resizing application based on the seam carving algorithm, which intelligently removes low-energy pixels to resize images without distorting important features.
