Provide hemodialysis treatments for patients with end-stage renal disease, ensuring accurate monitoring of vital signs and patient comfort. Serve as an advocate in regard to decisions affecting the plan of care.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans resulting in improved patient outcomes.

• Manage a caseload lof 8-10 patients daily, administering hemodialysis treatment according to established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patients for complications during treatment, taking necessary actions to ensure patient safety.
• Review physicians orders, collect pre-treatment dialysis data, administer dialysis-related intra-venous/oral medications and verify that patient take prescribed medications.
• Collaborate with nephrologists, dieticians and social workers to provide holistic patient care and improve overall well-being.
• Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and dietary restrictions, resulting in improved patient compliance.
• Promote a supportive, team-work orientated environment.
• Assist in the training and orientation of new staff members, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.

• Provide nursing care and teaching to a high volume of patients with a multitude of Urology needs, including catheter changes of all types and medication administration.
• Obtain vital signs and medical history.
• Assist Physician with office procedures, maintain sterile field while being flexible in the needs of the Physician.
• Provide telephone triage by assessing patient symptoms and establish need for intervention and urgency.

• Assess patients' vital signs and symptoms and document in electronic medical records.
• Clearly and thoroughly explain diagnoses, treatment options and procedures to patients and loved ones, ensuring a common understanding.
• Administer medications and injections to patients.

• Provide pre and post procedure care to patients within the Hemodialysis unit.
• Oversee dialysis treatment, recording patients vital signs and symptoms.
• Verify treatment orders relevant to dialysis treatment for each individual patient.
• Analyze emergency situations and took prompt action to save lives.
