Telemetry

• Charge Nurse: Responsible for overseeing a 42 bed unit focusing on patient assignments and addressing the needs of the unit
• Proficient in conducting head to toe assessments to be able to monitor changes in conditions and escalate in a timely manner
• Utilize critical thinking and leadership skills to manage conflict resolution
• Assess patients with high risks for falls and prioritize safeguards to prevent falls
• Confidently deliver high quality care and patient education to patients who need continuous cardiac monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and advocate for patients when escalating concerns in patient condition

• Deliver outstanding care to patients with various diagnoses and manage care for both short-term and permanent patients
• Administer injections, respiratory treatments, tracheostomy care, and monitor blood glucose levels
• Manage IV and PICC line infusions, and gastrostomy tube feedings
• Evaluate patients to identify and address wounds, behavioral concerns and medically-relevant symptoms
• Provide treatments including inserting and caring for urinary catheters and dressing changes
