This led to my job duties changing and adding me to the confirmations team of our intake team
In the intake department I worked in two patient billing systems, Fastrack & Brightree on confirming and completing DME orders for CPAP supplies in upwards of 3000 - 3500 orders per month
I am Responsible for verifying delivery dates to the patients in the smart turn system and then verifying that the supplies on the orders are correct prior to confirming the order for billing
I keep count of the flow of the orders on an excel spread sheet so that I can send this to the intake team manager Monthly to make her aware of errors, so they can be addressed and corrected by the team
I am also responsible for the Oxygen Tank Tickets, Same initial rules as confirming the CPAP supplies but for our Oxygen patients with additional detail such as location and adding their serial Numbers
Back up receptionist when the full time receptionist wasn't in the office
Which was usually 2 or 3 times every week
