As a coach, I provide constructive feedback to young athletes in order to enhance their fundamental skills and prepare them for high-level competition.

Specifically, I provide 1 on 1 instruction to players throughout practices, ensuring they leave a more developed player than they came as.

I monitored the athlete's progress throughout the season to refine practice plans to cater toward their needs. Most importantly, I contributed in crafting a positive learning environment that encouraged respect amongst players and coaches to ensure the young athletes have a positive experience with basketball.

I co-coached a group of elementary school children of various levels in basketball. My co-coach and I were provided with a mentor whom we worked closely with to resolve team issues, clearly communicate with parents, and identify effective methods of teaching to appeal to the players.

On top of that, I consulted with members of the Women's Coaching Alliance to discuss the components of a healthy coaching environment across sports and participated in workshops to enhance such skills. The Women's Coaching Alliance aims to promote female presence in the sports industry and instill confidence in young women to take on coaching roles to reduce the inequality.

I was the assistant coach to several elementary school teams, mainly the 4th grade boys team. I gained insight on effective teaching styles through observing the head coach and discovered a coaching style that worked for me. In doing so, I learned to interact with the young players and understanding what worked for them and what didn't. As a result, I was constantly refining my teaching methods to improve and lead the team.

In addition, I assisted the head coach with game and practice planning, and implemented strategies aimed towards maximizing player development within the program.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continued, the need for masks did as well. To promote individual safety, Mask Matters hand-crafted stylish masks, hoping to make the idea of masks less terrifying.

As the Chief Finance Officer, I managed our budget, inventory, ordered materials, packed and shipped final products. Additionally, I was a liaison between our organization and customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and order completion.
