Kaleida Health
Buffalo, NY
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am excited to apply for the Medical Assistant position with Kaleida Health at Buffalo General Medical Center. I am currently completing my Medical Assisting program at Bryant & Stratton College and am eager to begin building my career in a clinical environment where I can use my healthcare experience, patient-care skills, and strong work ethic. My previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant gave me direct experience supporting individuals with daily care, hygiene, mobility, and patient-centered needs. In addition, my pharmacy experience at Tops Friendly Markets provided exposure to medication-related tasks, medical inventory, prescription purchases, and professional customer communication. My current Medical Assisting education is further developing my skills in vital signs, EKG, patient care, pharmacology, medical terminology, and clinical procedures. I am particularly interested in this opportunity because the position combines clinical support with patient flow and clerical responsibilities. I am comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds, communicating clearly, staying organized in busy settings, and following established procedures. I also understand the importance of working within my scope and under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals would appreciate the opportunity to bring my compassion, reliability, healthcare background, and willingness to learn to Kaleida Health. Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss how my background and current Medical Assisting education could contribute to your team.
Sincerely,
Vanessa May
