I effectively utilized therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support clients. These interventions led to significant outcomes, including reduced anxiety and depression symptoms, improved coping strategies, and enhanced motivation for change among clients.
Collaborating with various professionals was essential in my role, enabling me to gather insights from different viewpoints and sharpen my clinical skills. During the internship, I cultivated strengths such as effective communication, empathy, and building rapport with clients. My supervisors frequently provided positive feedback, emphasizing my commitment, adaptability, and improvement in clinical skills while praising my capacity to integrate feedback and enhance my therapeutic methods. My professional growth was characterized by ongoing learning and adjustment as I incorporated suggestions from supervisors and colleagues to refine my practice. This experience has thoroughly prepared me for a career in clinical mental health, equipping me with the vital skills and confidence needed to excel in the profession.
