Zelle is a popular real-time peer-to-peer (P2P) payment service, integrated into many mobile banking apps in the U.S. Zelle is a digital payment network that allows users to send and receive money instantly between the U.S. Bank accounts can be created using just an email address or mobile number. It is often integrated natively into banking apps like those from PNC, Bank of America, Chase, or Wells Fargo, rather than requiring a standalone app.

Key Features:

Instant transfers, user interface integration, security, notifications, recipient verification, and request money feature.

2. Mobile Accept:

The Mobile Accept project at PNC Bank focused on enabling business customers to accept credit and debit card payments using a mobile device, paired with a card reader dongle. The solution was designed to empower small and medium businesses (SMBs) to securely process payments on the go, improving customer experience, and reducing reliance on traditional POS systems.

Key Features:

Accepting payments using a manual card and the card reader, transaction history, and email reports.
