Hello! My name is Ved Anumala and I am currently a student at Northeastern University as a Computer Science student. I am interested in exploring the vast world of software development through research, entrepreneurship, and working experience. I have experience working in a project-oriented environment as a Project Intern at the Santa Clara County of Education. I have experience conducting research with my research on how students' test anxiety can have effects on their exam scores. I later used my results as motivation for a project regarding student exam preparation and am currently working to make it a reality.
Designed and engineered an application that implements and encourages proven study habits that help students overcome test anxiety, lack of preparation, and time management into an organized environment that helps students study for their exams. We take in our users test details and then generate notes, practice questions, tests, and test taking strategies. To help manage time we integrated calendars and pomodoro timers. To help overcome anxiety we included and words of affirmation, a self grading system, and a progress report to give accurate feedback that gives the user clarity about their proficiency while boosting their confidence to improve. This was made to help students develop their skills and versatility in their academic careers.
Conducted a study on the psychological effects of examination scenarios and test anxiety on adolescents studying in K-12 academic environments.
