Education Technology Professional -2U is a premier builder of Educational Technology. 2U builds live, online learning platforms, designed to support top-tiered universities worldwide supporting their capabilities through providing live-online doctoral and master’s degree programs. As an Education Technology Sales Professional, I am highly skilled in relationship sales, marketing, and account management. I served as an Executive Admissions Counselor for USC’s (the University of Southern California) EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership doctorate program. The minimal applicant qualifier towards this elite program would require the demonstration of a history consistent sales goals (met and exceeded) and extensive leadership experience throughout their career. From there, my role was to help to guide the applicant in ways that helps to differentiate themselves from other applicants. Serving as the team’s lead admissions counselor, my daily role included successful fulfilment at every level involved in the prospect-to-applicant recruitment cycle. Once applied, I maintained responsibility towards one-on-one counseling with applicants, to provide direction (best practices approach as well as consistent steering to remain ahead of deadlines) with each applicant’s ability to present their strongest application package to present to USC’s review panel. As a highly skilled relationship sales agent, I annually met (and always made a point of exceeding) my annual sales goals as well as the surrounding metrics assigned to and associated with my role. As an original team member at the inception of the OCL program, I played and an integral role in the sales and marketing design and content Additional responsibilities include leadership in optimizing my team’s experiences as a new team member trainer, team program content leader, and relationship management strategist (with direct interfacing meetings with marketing, middle management, and monthly insight meetings with 2U SVP of Admissions). Additionally, I served as a regular host as well as technical support for live student webinars (multiple broadcasts scheduled monthly). Additionally, I supported the MAT (Master of Art in Teaching) candidate through various teaching credentials and certifications offered through USC’s school of Education.
Within a highly technologically based admissions sales position, I am responsible for providing exceptional guidance to prospective applicants, applicants, and students through all facets of the admissions processes. I am highly skilled in consultative sales and account management techniques designated to produce both strong quantitative and qualitative enrollment results. I work within metrics driven outreach designs that include inbound and outbound phone contact, video conferencing, text, and email, to prospective students to provide a comprehensive interview as the foundation toward determining the most aligned program option that aligns with the individual’s educational and professional goals.
