My first job was bussing tables at a members only club called the ski lodge. I really liked the job because it was one of those restaurants where people went to talk and drink. The food was mediocre, hence why they just went there to talk and drink, but what really made working there amazing was the people who id meet by just doing my job. Millionaires, business men and women, people who won the masters, and many other people from other backrounds. This job gave me hands on experience with learning how to communicate with people not just in a restaurant setting but in general, and along with it i learned how to take care of cleaning and customer service in the restaurant sphere. This job gave me the exact skills that i needed to obtain my second job, which finally was the perfect fit for me, being a server. I had my first staff meeting at Blake's Cafe on my 16th birthday, and therefore the day i could have a server job, i got one. I worked at Blake's for two years and was able to improve in every aspect of not only the customer service realm, but just the realm of restaurant service in general. I work incredibly diligently and efficiently and excell in customer service and ensuring their happiness, because the happiness of a guest reciprocates happiness to me via the smile they have when they eat such great food, or aren't parched because of their full beverage, or don't have to complain about not getting another round of drinks.
