  • Developed and implemented multiple objects in various functional areas in S4 HANA and BTP.
  • Created multiple front end UIs using BAS, created applications with SAP build apps and low code approach.
  • DuPont wanted to stream line their logistics and MES interfaces to third party systems across different SAP landscapes and this involves redesigning all the existing interfaces. I was involved in all the discussions right from the start to assist the end users in mapping the required data to the suitable IDoc fields, to decide if an existing standard IDoc suffices our requirement or a new IDoc type and message type needs to be created, to decide if any existing solutions can be used with minor enhancements or a totally new solution needs to be designed and implemented and also to help make all the interfaces real time and event triggered rather than being asynchronous and batch managed. Also responsible to make the decision if the development needs to be done on the ABAP side or the CPI side as developments done on CPI has less maintenance involved.
  • Built multiple interfaces using IDocs, converted many existing batch managed interfaces to real time and event triggered interfaces using suitable BADIs, exits and Business object workflows.
  • DuPont has a CFIN system implemented and took care of changes in data mappings in the new system during data transmission from source systems.
  • Developed a new custom transaction for posting goods movement, with interactive output to vary the quantity to be posted and generate the subsequent material movement document, PR, PO and Delivery using OOPS ABAP.
  • Developed multiple oData services to be called from the Fiori dashboard for an EHS application which enables the user to enter material quantity, once entered the DG goods check and other material characteristics are checked and a delivery is created and is downloaded into local desktop as a PDF file.
  • DuPont also has PPM implemented, combined the basic details tab, dates tab and additional data tab into one single custom tab in the ‘Tasks’ screen and ensured all the functionalities are working as expected. Modified the ‘DPR_DET_DATA_TASK_O’ component for this requirement.
  • Develop a custom functionality to restrict edit access to users to projects, depending on the roles assigned to the users. Debugged the standard PPM dashboard functionality to find out the logic used to fetch the list of projects for which a particular user is assigned as responsible resource and implemented similar logic in the customization.
  • Developed CDS views and integrated them into various webdynpro abap objects.
  • Worked on various custom objects creation on S/4 Hana, using the latest ABAP 7.4 syntax.

This included optimizing the webdynpro objects, corresponding approval workflow and also the oData service which sends the created data to IBM BPM.
  • Perform unit testing of all the objects developed or modified and document test results.
  • Created a new custom functionality when a c-project is set to discontinued status to change the status of all the tasks under it and all the sub projects associated with it to discontinue status. Created a post exit to method in standard webdybpro component ‘DPR_DET_DATA_PROJECT_O’ and also used BAPI_2173 and multiple BADIs like DPR_EVENTS to achieve this.
  • Prevent the task release when certain validations fail. DPR_ATTRIBUTES BADI is used here to implement the logic and BAPI_2175 is used to change the Task status.
  • Developed a custom report to download the required c-project template details into an excel sheet and upload the edited file back. Make changes in existing templates or create new templates according to the details uploaded back. This is a report developed using OOABAP approach, used BAPI_2169 to change the details or create new project templates, used xml transformations to upload the excel file.
  • A new button is added in the FPM configuration ‘/RPM/WDA_FIN_CAP_PLANNING ‘ of FPM_OIF_COMPONENT’ WDA component and enhanced the component /RPM/FIN_AP_PLANNING to add a new custom view depending on the FPM event triggered.
  • Find out the required enhancement spots or objects in standard flow to make the needed changes.
