Project: Detection of harmful weapon's Using MobileNet-V2

Developed a system for gun and knife detection based on the MobileNet-V2 methodology.

Compared two approaches to CNN; the new model is about 35% faster with the same accuracy than MobileNetV1.

Applied machine learning techniques in the field of video surveillance.

Developed two novel weapon detectors for guns and knives, applying deep learning techniques and assessed their performance.

Project : Database Management System for Public Library

Graduate Project | George Mason University

  • Designed and implemented a scalable database management system (DBMS) to optimize resource and membership management for a public library.
  • Created an Entity-Relationship (ER) model to structure relationships between entities like Materials, Catalogs, Genres, Members, and Staff.
  • Developed and optimized SQL queries for critical operations, including:Tracking material availability and overdue items.
Generating analytics reports for library usage and resource planning.
Automating alerts for overdue materials and managing membership statuses using triggers and stored procedures.
  • Enhanced system efficiency by minimizing data redundancy and ensuring data integrity across all transactions.
  • Delivered data-driven insights to improve library operations and informed decision-making.

Technologies Used: SQL, Database Design, ER Modeling, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Reporting and Analytics.

This version is concise, highlights your technical skills, and aligns with the expectations of hiring managers. Let me know if you'd like additional refinements!

Project :Analysis of Physical Activity and Obesity Using Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Data

  • Conducted comprehensive data analysis to explore correlations between physical activity, dietary habits, and obesity rates using the BRFSS dataset.
  • Developed predictive models using machine learning techniques (e.g., logistic regression and random forests) to identify key factors influencing obesity across various demographics.
  • Performed extensive data preprocessing, including handling missing values, normalizing data, and feature engineering, to improve analysis accuracy.
  • Designed visualizations like heatmaps and box plots to identify trends and outliers in socioeconomic factors and their impact on obesity rates.
  • Uncovered actionable insights such as the significant role of unhealthy dietary habits and low physical activity levels in increasing obesity prevalence.
  • Highlighted regional disparities and socioeconomic influences, emphasizing targeted interventions for public health improvement.
  • Delivered findings through a cohesive report and presentations, proposing evidence-based recommendations for reducing obesity-related risks.

Programming Languages: Python (for data analysis and machine learning)
