- Managing the CBTC signalling systems for Doha Metro project, which includes DNP/Modification/Maintenance & Upgrade activities.
- Review of contractual requirements,design technical specifications,employer system requirements, design documents, Minimum operating requirements (MOR), Interface Control Documents (ICD) and O &M manuals.
- Warranty and DLP & Claims management, leading failure review board for reporting, identifying and correcting defects of signalling system and system interface.
- Coordinating with different systems such as SCADA, platform Screen Doors (PSD), Tunnel ventilation system (TVS),Telecom(PIDS/PAS), Rolling Stock(RST), Depot Maintenance equipment(DMT), Energy and MEP, which are interfacing with Signalling.
- Manage and monitor contractors in establishing Signalling system as per contractual agreement and thereby ensure all system specification measures are accomplished by contractors keeping in mind the signalling design requirements.
- Maintaining appropriate, standardized documents and regular reporting to the Qatar Rail management and other stakeholders reflecting key issues, risks, resolutions, and performance to enable them to effectively understand risks and impacts on the project in relation to the signalling system.
- Ensuring KPIs for the signalling system and all the work is executed and in accordance with department budget/cost objectives.
- Applying the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / product.
- Analyzing of Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis(FTA), Interface Hazard Analysis IHA, Safety related Item List (SRIL).
- Led technical engineering meetings, system interface meetings,contractual meetings and stake holder meetings.
