Founded a tax-exempt nonprofit organization (81-2721645) for the purpose of providing free supportive services (mainly legal advocacy) for women who are currently victims/survivors of sex trafficking or domestic violence.
Created the Court Accompaniment Program (free legal advocacy program) where I assist participants in obtaining domestic violence restraining orders.
Provide free transport to and from the courthouse for our clients.
Provide moral support in court for women who do not have family support.
Explain the courtroom process, as it pertains to restraining orders and hearings.
Outreach through education: Community presentations and workshops pertaining to sex trafficking, domestic violence, protective orders, legal remedies, trauma-informed care, harm-reduction, and other evidenced based interventions.
