Next Gen Financial Management (NGFM) platform centers on transforming One America’s enterprise financial systems to align with current industry standards and legal regulations. The project involves development and set up of new applications Aptitude and Workday in incremental phases, and it's support while retiring older systems.

• Lead a team of 15 software engineers in implementation of Accounting solutions resulting in successful transition from legacy to NGFM platform.
• As SME for Aptitude application, spearheading design and development of Oracle SQL Database components, aptitude microflows and deploy builds using AWS.
• Create and modify Integrations, Custom Reports and Security as part of enhancements and production break-fixes for Workday.
• Set up Control-M batches so that various Admin systems can feed and extract data from NGFM applications efficiently.
• Lead application upgrades for Aptitude and Workday, partnering with Vendors and key stakeholders for seamless integration with customized code.
• Collaborated with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices for performance optimization resulting in 25% improvement in daily Ledger and Payment batch cycles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, provide end user and vendor communications, workarounds to minimize application downtimes, and permanent fixes during P1 Incident management using root cause analysis techniques.
• Supported product owners in defining clear requirements for feature enhancements or new functionality requests through active participation during backlog grooming sessions.

MetLife UDA Development

Client: Metlife Insurance

MetLife Distributed Applications is a group of applications catering to Billing, Claims and Payments. The main goal of the project was to migrate applications from Access DB to a Centralized MS SQL Database while improving the UI, integration of newer components to incorporate business needs.

• Spearheaded onboarding and migration of 10 Distributed applications such as Held Payments, Outstanding Checks, Critical Injury from MS Access to SQL database.
• Collaborated with stakeholders to define technical requirements, Database designs and project planning.
• Designed and implemented databases utilizing MS SQL Server and Visual Basic technologies and created automated scripts for data back up and migration using Powershell.
• Managed a team of 8 developers and utilized Agile Scrum Sprints to track overall project deliverables through phases of development, testing and execution.
• Provided warranty support and created documentation streamlining migration process resulting in improved delivery times.

Project Name: MetLife Integrated Actuarial Environment (MIAME) Development

Client: Metlife Insurance

MIAME is an actuarial processing Environment used by the Metlife actuaries across the globe. The development project focused on migration of MIAME application from SharePoint 2010 to 2016 and integration of new components, technologies for enhanced business requirements.

• Participated in business and architecture requirement sessions and translation of high and low-level design documentation.
• Led the team through development of Sharepoint Framework as per SDLC in Visual Studio 2016 using C#, ASP.NET, SQL, RESTful API, JavaScript, and MS SQL technologies and tracking deliverables to meet project timelines.
• Customized and built MIAME SharePoint Site Collections, Pages, Webparts, Lists, Master Pages, Workflows and branding using SharePoint Designer 2016 and SharePoint Central Administration.
• Identified areas for improvement and developed POCs and mock screens proposing cost-effective solutions that improved overall functionality.
• Testing application and data migration of nearly 40 SharePoint sites and creation of Powershell scripts to automate time-consuming tasks improving team efficiency.
• Production deployment of builds, hyper care support and fix production issues after migration.

Project Name: Patient Care Initiative (PCI) Development and Support
Client: CVS Pharmacy
CVS's Patient Care Initiative program aims at identifying undelivered opportunities for patients and delivering these to the providers, thereby improving script adherence and overall patient care.
Delivered high-quality code on time by effectively managing project timelines and prioritizing tasks accordingly.

• Participate in business requirement session and technical design sessions.
• Developed, implemented and optimized stored procedures and functions using Oracle PL/SQL and batch programs using Unix shell scripting.
• Conducted thorough testing, code reviews and SQL tuning to improve code quality and performance.
• Partnered with onshore leads in UAT testing coordination and code deployment activities.

Project Name: Infrastructure Management and Support
Client: Neiman Marcus Group
Neiman Marcus Group is a Fashion Retailer comprising of the specialty retail stores division and the direct marketing division. The main goal of the project is to monitor and resolve issues with the sites, web and application servers used for processing orders and shipping by stores and warehouses.

• Monitored websites, availability and performance of application and web instances using tools like BCC, Dynatrace, MKS and Nagios
• Set up monitoring dashboards and resolve P1/P2 issues as per SLA ensuring maximum uptime.
• Management of servers that host applications online and in the stores and warehouses.
• Deployed weekly and monthly patches to the web sites hosted on multiple JBoss and apache instances.
• Developed scripts for automation of daily test build activities.
• Perform production builds, database patching and Load testing on 7 Core NM Sites.
• Created knowledge management repository to share with team and incident reports for clients.
