  • Repaired an Army refrigeration unit while on a Joint Security Site in the deployed environment of Iraq. This was the only available unit. The timeliness of this repair directly resulted in saving our Battalion over ten-thousand dollars in food costs, the cost of a new refrigeration unit and the man hours of delivering the unit to the Joint Security Site.
  • Fabricated Professional grade, High pressure air, fuel, oil, and hydraulic hoses upon assuming the role of shop supervisor of the Hose Fabrication Shop on Shindand Air Base, Afghanistan, saving the Army over five-hundred man hours and thousands of dollars in material costs.
