Hobbies and Interests

  • Sprint athlete for several years taking home numerous gold medals.
  • Volunteering at the Feeding America distribution program every 1st and 2nd Fridays of each month at New Hope SDA Church.
  • Doing lunch time talks on various areas of health since 2003 to present as teaching is one of my passions.
  • Currently volunteering with SALT (Service and Love Together) San Diego which is part of my church the San Diego Clairemont SDA Church where we go in the Downtown San Diego area and assist the homeless individuals with showers, food, clothing, etc.
  • I love working with psychiatric patients and seeing the difference we as health care professionals make in their lives every day, but being a mother to my children also gives me that joy and the reason to give my best in whatever I area I am called.
