Summary

I build the coalitions, content, and experiences that turn skeptical institutions into confident adopters of emerging technology and policy. At Coinbase, I launched a government-facing partnerships function from zero — building deep trust with Congressional caucuses and national nonprofits, and translating complex technology into accessible content that moved legislation and changed attitudes. I am an early adopter of emerging technology — the same way I was early to crypto before it was mainstream. I use AI regularly in how I research, write, communicate, plan, and build. I understand technology not as a novelty but as infrastructure, and I know what it takes to help organizations move the policy needle.

Work History

Head of Partnerships, US Policy

Coinbase
2025 - 2026

Built Coinbase's Policy Partnerships function from zero — designing coalition strategy and content systems, that connected policy leaders, academia, nonprofits, and industry allies to advance responsible technology policy at scale.

  • Built the coalition: Launched a government-facing partnerships function from zero to active national scale — engaging Congressional Black, Hispanic, and AAPI Caucuses, national nonprofits, and academic institutions.
  • Delivered substance over noise: Produced 17 high-impact external initiatives in 12 months — including the first-ever crypto financial literacy program with Operation HOPE, an AI and Digital Payments report with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and the HBCU Crypto for Good program with Morgan State.
  • Built repeatable, scalable systems: Grew coalition reach 4x as measured by partner activation and legislative reach — by systematizing a scalable alliance playbook with a16z, Paradigm, Crypto.com, Ripple, and the National Cryptocurrency Association.
  • Owned the budget and the complexity: Managed $1.6M end-to-end — by building operational systems and proactive communication cadences that kept 17 simultaneous initiatives on track across Marketing, Product, Engineering, Legal, and People teams.
  • Commanded every room: Served as spokesperson and storyteller for government and community audiences — at the CBC Annual Legislative Conference, Blockchain Braintrust at Martha's Vineyard, and the NASDAQ Bell-Ringing with Operation HOPE — making complex policy and technology concepts feel accessible to frontline practitioners and senior elected officials.

Head of Community and Culture Programs

Coinbase
2021 - 2025

(Title held: Head of Belonging)

Built and ran Coinbase's internal community and cultural enablement infrastructure for 3,500 employees globally — developing the architecture, systems, and programs that directly informed the government-facing partnerships work that followed.

  • Stewarded a thriving community: Drove a +14pp increase in employee engagement across 3,500 global employees — sustained through market volatility, layoffs, restructurings and intense external scrutiny.
  • Designed and delivered training that changed behavior: Built enablement and development programs for employees and senior leadership bootcamps.
  • Tracked signals and iterated: Built a real-time community engagement measurement system — with live dashboard, survey integration, and peer recognition mechanics.
  • Owned the content and messaging: Developed and maintained a full library of enablement content, training guides, and communication playbooks used globally.
  • Grew communities that scaled: Scaled seven communities of practice from concept to active self-sustaining networks — by designing repeatable architecture, systematizing engagement cadences, and building feedback loops. .
  • Became the trusted guide at the top: Counseled the CEO and COO through a high-stakes, politically sensitive organizational transition — providing tradeoff analysis, internal communications strategy, and a path forward that protected both people and the business's reputation.
