•Independently oversees all activities and performance of the Mortgage Processing team.
• Manage the processing of all loan applications, including oversight of underwriting standards and guidelines
• Create a pipeline management process to forecast accurate home loan funding goals
• Recruit, hire, onboard, and train processing staff
• Establish and maintain relationships with external partners such as appraisers, title companies and settlement agents
• Coordinate with other departments within the Company such as servicing, accounting, and underwriting to ensure loan
processing goes smoothly
• Maintain a positive work environment by developing helpful relationships with additional stake holders: mortgage loan
officers, underwriters, mortgage operations to ensure a smooth loan process
• Monitor the quality of service provided by outside vendors such as appraisers to ensure high standards are met
• Fully understand and strictly adhere to all Federal Regulations as they pertain to the Credit Union and your position
• Strictly adhere to all Credit Union Policies and Procedures
• Required to take and pass all assigned Lender regulation and procedures training
