  • Responsible for doctor and lab no shows. Contact any missed appointments for that day and reschedule patients for a later date.
  • Create/update profiles for New Gynecology patients and Established patients
  • Call patients that we need updates on (insurance to make sure they are active, phone numbers/address changes and appointment dates/times)
  • Create telephone encounters for any issues that cannot be resolved at the time of the visit or call
  • Send messages to doctors, nurses or supervisors regarding patient questions

  • Direct any calls from patients, doctors, and/or other facilities to the appropriate department
  • Make sure all paperwork needed by nursing staff is printed and stocked
  • Make sure all forms for release of information and release of records are filled out correctly and accurately and sent to medical records team and/or faxed to offices that are requesting documentation
  • New OB paperwork and budget agreements are explained and signed at the time of check out
  • Confirm that all documents/all consents are signed by patients and providers before being scanned into the patient charts
  • Schedule patient's next appointment if required by the provider
  • Provide patients with Lab and/or Mammogram orders if going to a location outside of our office
  • Complete different trainings needed to be up to date with all technology, policy and assignment changes
