  • In charge of assisting the director in overseeing the interns and volunteers of the counseling team. This includes but is not limited to producing training content, editing and revising training documents as needed, training the new staff on grief counseling, proper notetaking, ethical and legal standards, and the department policies and procedures.
  • Screen and assess all possible grief group participants and provide 1-1 grief counseling for clients who are not ready to be in group therapy.
  • Oversee all grief groups (7+) that run on an eight week basis all year long. Lead grief groups of ages two years old up to adults for those who have lost a family member when coverage is needed.
  • Attend individual and group supervision 2x per week.
  • Document all client notes in AWARDS.
  • Handle billing and payments for all group and 1-1 counseling services.
