I would grateful for the opportunity to attend UT Austin's Natural Science Honors College for my career to ensure my personal and academic growth necessary for a career in astrophysics and to have access to resources that are unavailable at other colleges like equipment or experienced teachers. I would be a great fit for your Honors College as I am a self-motivated and passionate student towards learning in depth of my career and have acquired research skills needed for data research as part of the debate team in high school while being able to work well with other people per my experiences in organizations like band and Hearts and Hands of Baytown. The value I am capable of bringing to your institution if accepted is open-mindedness necessary to collaborate with coworkers and classmates alike, my ability to motivate and effectively support others in their endeavors, and the drive necessary to achieve my goals to keep pushing myself through obstacles in order to succeed as well as inspiring others in the process of working for my goals.

• 2018-2019: Freshman Region Band with Oboe, Solo and Ensemble 1st Division Medal, National Speech and Debate Association Certificate of Membership, 6th Place Swim Region Qualification ribbon in 100 Yard Breaststroke, 3rd Place Swim Region Qualification Medal for 400 Yard Freestyle Relay, 2nd Place Swim Region Qualification
• 2019-2020: Karate Green Belt Certificate and Belt, Solo and Ensemble 1st Division Medal, National Honor Society Member Certificate, 7th Place Swim Region Qualification Ribbon for 100 Yard Breaststroke, 5th Place Swim Region Qualification Ribbon for 200 Yard Medley 3rd Place Swim Region Qualification Medal for 200 Freestyle Relay,
• 2020-2021: Solo and Ensemble 1st Division Medal, AP Scholar Award from College Board

• 2 Officer Positions held in band Junior Year- Librarian (organize and keep record of all music) and Section Leader for Front Ensemble (Asked to step up for someone else, Leader of percussion while a woodwind in the band) Section Leader Officer position held Senior Year- I was re-appointed to help lead the section with another person Instruments: Oboe from 6th grade to present as a part of the Barbers Hill High School Soaring Eagle Marching Band Front Ensemble member as a non-percussionist and I played Marimba in 9th grade and Vibraphone from 10th grade to present in marching season Violin since about 6 years old outside of school
