During my time at the Portsmouth Navel Shipyard I have worked in interior tanks blasting to meet the required surface profiles of 2-4 mils making it ready for coating application. I have worked with other shops on the interior parts of the boat such as SSDR hangers. That required me to read and interpret complex written instructions, drawings, specifications, engineering standards and the manufacturers' manuals to determine where each new SSDR hanger was installed. I have vast knowledge of paints we use and understand th requirements of always making sure I meet the required mil thickness of the paints I am applying. I am more than able to correctly identify the coating materials needed for the job assigned. Working on both the VA Class and 688 Class boats has given me the ability to match the correct tints and tones of the interior of the boat in each compartment. I have been trust by many of my supervisors to mentor and train new employees in back brushing. I have also been tasked to be a part to the promotional videos for the shipyard endorsing the work that we accomplish here and to give new ideas on how we can improve our processes here to help save cost. With my consistent first time quality work I have shown that I am able to complete our work with limited or no supervision.
Provide high quality care while preserving patient dignity and minimizing discomfort. Used electronic health records systems, trained new employees and always greeted everyone with a smile.
Manger of both the Somersworth and Greenland locations, area from Seabrook to Wakefield.
I planned and organized work for the 25 employees that worked for me.
Often working under pressure due to making and exceeding deadlines.
In this position I supported documentations, material to meet schedules order telecommunication supplies form gloves to cable and telephone poles to ensure deadlines were met or exceeded. I was able to do this by staying on top of materials order and tracking them.
I was often the central point of contact with end consumers, contractors, other mangers and utility companies.
