Counts , packages, and labels unit doses for inspection by Pharmacist.
Perform quality control and auditing functions to ensure that all medications are appropriately available to caregivers.
Prepares I.V. mixtures and operates automated systems.
Assisted in maintaining a clean and organize work environment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Sterile and non-sterile compounding patient-specific for adult, pediatric and neonatal medications.
Batching sterile and non-sterile medications.
Prepares I.V. and oral doses with the DoseEdge system workflow.
Cleans I.V. room , Anteroom , and Chemo room .
Medication inspections to ensure that medications are properly and safely stored, in date, and ready for use when needed.
Trains staff and students/ Educates new technician and pharmacy student on filling operations.
Answered incoming phone calls and answers questions from caregivers.
Calculates dosage, refills prescriptions, and prepares prescription labels with absolute accuracy.
To ensure material and medications for patient support during a medical emergency is available and operational at all times .
Pyxis troubleshooting/ resolves failed drawers, stock , load , unload , fix discrepancies and outdate all expired medications.
Delivers STAT medication /transports missed doses to nursing unit.
