Dynamic Pilates Instructor with extensive experience, adept at group and individual instruction. Committed to injury prevention and safety, I have successfully taught over 500 classes, fostering a supportive environment that promotes health and wellness, adapting exercises to meet individual needs.
I continue to teach Pilates classes in-house 3X a week to elk members as a service for our organization. These students have been with me for several years and I have taught over 500 classes. I am presently a member of Whittier Elks Lodge (Downey Elks Lodge closed in 2023 and only recently reopened in February 2025). Unfortunately this lodge has over 700 members and it is not feasible to offer this service to the members.
My husband and I own a Termite Company. I work as the Operations Manager overseeing client relations, management company contracts, vendors, office staff, etc. I also supervise operations to keep compliant with the Structural Pest Control Board.
I worked as a volunteer Pilates Instructor at Downey Elks Lodge for 2 years teaching Beginner/Advanced classes 3X a week for groups of 12-20 women. All class fees I collected went to support our charities because I was a member of the lodge.
During Covid (March 2020 through June 2021), our lodge was closed. I moved the classes to my house so that our members could continue their progress and have an outlet during the lockdown to minimize isolation.
After our Lodge reopened in June 2021, I continued to teach for another 6 months. After this period of time, I moved Pilates to my house 3x a week to accommodate my work schedule (My husband and I own a termite company). I have continued to teach 3X a week in house to date.
I promote a safe environment above all else, demonstrating proper form and technique to prevent injury. I also know how to modify exercises based on member's limitations. The space where we exercise is kept clean at all times. The classes I teach are energetic to motivate and uplift the members.
