Position is domiciled at a large outpatient community behavioral health clinic which provides outpatient behavioral health services to adults, adolescents and children's experiencing psychiatric and addiction issues/concerns.

• Responsible for managing and directing the delivery of nursing services.
• Directly supervises the nursing staff and provides direct care services to a caseload of clients who require specialized services. Duties are performed independently with general supervision from the Clinic Manager and Medical Director.
• Coordinates the care for clients requiring injections and manages a specialized and complex Clozaril caseload.
• Promotes a culture of continuous improvement within the nursing department by regularly soliciting feedback from staff members and incorporating suggestions into practice when appropriate.

• Served as charge nurse on an inpatient adult and/or adolescent unit and assumed the role of supervisor when delegated.
• Utilized critical thinking skills to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient needs and addressing emergent issues promptly.
• Monitored vital signs, lab results, and other indicators to detect changes in patients'' conditions promptly.
• Administered medications accurately and safely via oral or intramuscular site.
• Assisted and collaborated with physicians and therapists to ensure delivery of quality care.
• Assessed and monitored physical, psychological, physiologic, and cognitive status of patients and reported changes in physical presentation, appearance, and behavior to the physician and multi-disciplinary treatment team.
