Cover Letter

To whom it may concern,

I am seeking a Maintenance Manager position. While working at Oscar Mayer from 1991-1993, I was the 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor and Planner for the entire plant.

I took on a lead support role by attending daily area information meetings. My position as Engineering Planner was the most significant. The role required preparation of cost estimates for engineering staff, coordination with tool management and 1st and 3rd shift Maintenance Managers to complete our PM’s.

The Engineering environment at Oscar Mayer molded and shaped my career such that I could make the transition during plant closure, to the West Liberty Iowa Louis Rich Plant ( 1993-1994) where I again took on a leadership role as Maintenance Supervisor and Liaison between maintenance and new installation technical staff.

In (1994-1996) I was approached by a recruiter with Avery Dennison. The responsibilities as a Project Engineer were: coordination of new installations, training and environmental testing. In 1996 I decided to venture out on my own and start my own business. In (2007-present) I became the legal sole proprietor of my own janitorial company where I grew my business from one client to ten clients by word of mouth in a matter of one year.In building my business it has allowed me the freedom to venture into sales as well.

My resume shows that I have persevered. I graduated from Tennessee State University and my work has been diversified.

Sincerely,

Vickie L Williams
