Have traveled all over the world, as a missionary living in South America, China, and the Philippians until the year 2000. Graduated from Nursing and worked for one year at NF Regional Hospital in Gainesville, in the Cardiac Cath lab, then transitioned to the VA in Lake City, FL.

Enjoy working with the veteran population at the VA. They are a special group, and I have learned a lot about life and people working with them.

Will be retiring from the VA in December this year, and looking for a part time job to keep me busy.

Have enjoyed working with the Gateway students doing their clinicals with the acute care unit. Love teaching and like to share knowledge with the students. Together we can help to develop strong capable competent

nurses, who are ready to conquer the world of nursing.

I received my ANCC Med-Surg certification in years 2007, 2012

I have received the highest performance awards on years 2010, 2015, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, totally over $10,000.

I have faithfully served on our Unit Practice Council for 5 years, helping to address unit and hospital problems as well as patient satisfaction in our hospital.

I have served on our medication bar code committee for 5 years addressing errors in medication administration.
