• Make ready various investigational products for utilization in stability, clinical, and toxicological studies in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice regulations.
• Conducts the evaluation, design and implementation of new systems, procedures and equipment to improve PSO manufacturing and general operations.
• Develops and implements appropriate procedures and controls for the small-scale preparation of investigational products in accordance with applicable FDA regulations and guidelines and Allergan standards and policies.
• Provides input into and executes validation protocols, experiments, and process studies per required project timelines. Creates development reports or summaries for management review.
• Orders and purchase necessary equipment and parts for assigned manufacturing projects.

• Manufactures bulk investigational products by weighing materials, mixing, sterile filtration, steam sterilization and sanitization. Set up and tears down properly manufacturing equipment used.
• Processes requests for raw materials and investigational compounds in a timely and accurately.
• Ensures that proper controls are in place with inventory. Stores, packages, distributes and handle investigational raw material compounds accordingly.
• Maintains proper controls of operations by adhering SOPs, manufacturing procedures, GMPs, ISO standards, OSHA guidelines and other pertinent requirements. Maintains accurate and complete logbooks and records.
• Provides input into and executes validation protocols, experiments, and process studies per required project timelines.

TEVA PHARMACEUTICAL INC.

• Leads the personnel in the Compounding area to ensure efficient and timely workflow. Assign daily tasks to compounding personnel.
• Participates on implementing new manufacturing technologies and procedures with the project team.
• Operates, maintains, and makes minor repairs to all equipment in accordance with GMPs and applicable procedures.
• Coordinates repairs with Maintenance Department as needed. Reports efficiency problems, maintenance issues, and employee relation problems to the department supervisor and assists in resolving issues. Maintains a clean work area. Coordinates cleaning of all formulation equipment.
• Tracks and replenishes supplies, as necessary, to avoid production delays.
• Coordinate with QC chemistry personnel for the release of products before sending to filling.
• Help maintenance personnel in the troubleshooting and repair of compounding equipment such as Micro fluidizer, scales and etc.
• Contributes in manufacturing of suspension products.
