Led and provided meaningful oversight to Christian based ministry teams to establish and grow communities of students and faculty on college and university campuses. Was responsible for recruiting and developing campus ministers, modeling spiritual maturity, and inspiring campus ministers, students, faculty, and community partners. Goal setting was accomplished within a framework of local, area, divisional, regional, and national InterVarsity ministers and volunteers. Developed and maintained a network of community partners to fully fund the ministry budget and activities. Team leadership, collaboration, and effective communication at all levels was key to the various successful ministry teams.

As Campus Staff Minister, was responsible to establish, grow, and build communities of students and faculty to follow Christian based living on each campus. Through leadership, modeling of Christian behaviors, teaching, and communicating InterVarsity’s Vision and Core Values, was successful in building and developing ongoing and long-lasting partnership with students, faculty, alumni, volunteer, and community partners. 100% funding for each campus team was accomplished through outreach to various parties on campus and in the community. Organizational collaboration among students, faculty, supporters, and community partners and funders became a standard in building and growing successful self-sustaining campus teams.

Mechanical Design Engineer

Designed and implemented a customer’s automated manufacturing system. This system developed included state-of-the-art collaborative robots, high-speed multi-axis robots, and multi-camera HD color vision systems. The project was started with a high-level set of customer requirements, and then continued for the life of the project based on continued collaboration with the customer. Success was achieved for not only large-scale assembly operations but for single operator work cells as well. Increased production, reduced costs, and improved quality were all accomplishments with this project.

TEMA Representative (RIT Engineering Co-op)

Toyota Motor Manufacturing

Member and on-site representative of Toyota Motor’s manufacturing and research development operations in North America (TEMA). Worked for a semester and a summer session at their Huntsville, Alabama manufacturing facility to ensure manufacturing integrity and optimization. Collaborated directly with line workers, plant engineers, plant maintenance, outside contractors, and other TEMA engineers to quickly respond to prevent and if necessary to fix any issues impacting downtime and Toyota’s high standards of quality. After an initial introduction was frequently TEMA’s only representative at Huntsville.

As a three-month full-time and nine-month part time Co-op assignment, worked with a Xerox research team to explore the use of cold fusion to prevent the wear and needed replacement of fusion rollers in xerographic printers. Provided measurements, modeling, and testing of rollers of different materials and coatings. Built test fixtures, created MATLAB code to run said fixtures, and analyzed results using proprietary tests to determine the effectiveness of the xerographic process.
