Troubleshoot/replace/maintain state highway traffic lights and street lights.

Be on call 24/7 for emergency knock downs of traffic lights our outages

Operate ladder/boom trucks to set traffic/ street/ highway traffic and street lights. Also use the boom truck to replace faulty traffic lights.

Use electrical tools including voltmeter to test for amps to find shorts underground through junction boxes. Use screwdrivers wire cutters to wire up the traffic/ street lights. Pull mule tape and new wire to replace faulty/ bad wires.

Knowledge of reading blueprints for new traffic/street light install and to troubleshoot out in the field.

Build meter cabinets for traffic intersections and street lights

Set up highway safety for traffic control including signs detours and cones

• Perform various duties and operate various vehicles and equipment to ensure my area of responsibility on State Roadways is safe and clean to enhance traffic flow and to keep the motoring public safe

• Perform basic life-saving skills as needed
• Transport ill patients to and from various Medical Facilities
• Respond to emergencies and tend to the ill as needed

• Perform various duties and operate various vehicles and equipment to maintain properties for customers to ensure customer satisfaction
• Interact with various customers and co-workers on a daily basis to ensure proper performance and enhance customer service
• Adapt to changing work sites and conditions to ensure proper utilization of equipment and products to produce the best results possible in a given set of circumstances
