Records were kept of cell phones & telephone lines.
Records were kept of every location the telephone line was located & which office. The total cost per telephone line, the total cost of telephones per location every month, & the total cost of telephone lines yearly were recorded.
Serial Numbers, SIM ID numbers, the location, the user, the cost per cell phone, the monthly total of cell phones per location every month were recorded & sent to the accountant.
Phone bills were checked every month to make sure we were not billed for telephone lines & cell phones that did not belong to the agency. Telephone bills were checked for personal calls. It was the Accountant Clerks responsibility to receive payment for personal calls, make records of the payment & the personal call, & turn it into the accountant.
Invoices were paid for services made by inside employees.
The Accountant Tech was responsible for sending invoices to Central Accounting for payment. There was an approval sheet that was typed with the authorized signature. The approval sheet that state information of the invoices & the invoices were E-mailed to Central Accounting.
Records were kept for every invoice that was sent to Central Accounting for payment. It was simple to check to see when & if invoices were paid & the amount of the payment sent when questions arrived determining if invoices were paid. The records made it simple to give an authorized employee information on previous invoices rather than sorting through several files, which will take too much time.

I have 1 associates degree in Accounting & 1 bachelors degree in Business Administration/Finance with several accounting classes. There were accounting spreadsheet experience in some of those classes.
There is experience in getting information ready for the Accountant. The information required was to keep records of monthly totals & yearly totals.
Experience deals with records kept of totals for telecommunications with the agency & records kept of invoices paid to Central Accounting with the agency.
