Paid Intern
As a Paid Intern at Avenue 33 Farm in Los Angeles, I supported farm productivity through hands-on tasks such as crop growth, fertilization, composting, and harvesting. I regularly sorted and packed produce for customer distribution, set up and managed our weekly farm stand, and consistently prepared up to 55 produce boxes for community members. I also unloaded, bagged, and distributed approximately one ton of fresh produce each week. My responsibilities included monitoring vegetable and herb terraces for healthy growth, organizing irrigation systems and farm equipment, and maintaining a compact walk-in fridge. I operated the POS system to process transactions and built strong relationships with over 75 customers and my team, helping create a welcoming environment every Saturday.
