- Over the past couple of years I've gained a lot of experience with school and working in the mining/industrial industry.
- The mining industry exposed many different sides of the electrical field from preventive maintenance, installations , and troubleshooting. As well as working at Borman speciality materials.
- I’ve worked all around the plant site while taking emergency calls to fix equipment.
- I have high voltage and low voltage experience along with certification.
- I have motor control experience and troubleshooting knowledge under my belt.
- Experience with pneumatic valves, actuators, level indicators and understanding of PLC knowledge.
- I’ve worked around many sub stations that vary from voltages like 24900kv, 7200v, 4160v and 480v.
- I have general knowledge and understanding transformers. Along with knowing how to read electrical schematics.
- I’ve done many transformer installs along with making connections and slapping in cut outs to power up transformers. Along with testing to make sure job is complete.
- I’ve worked around many electrical power distribution lines to figure out power outages.
- I also have experience with installing different types of protection devices from circuit breakers to fused disconnects, and other equipment that requires safety devices.
- Overall I carry a total 6 years of electrical experience but I'm still eager to learn and take my skills with a company like NV energy.
