Over the past couple of years I've gained a lot of experience with school and working in the mining/industrial industry.
The mining industry exposed many different sides of the electrical field from preventive maintenance, installations , and troubleshooting. As well as working at Borman speciality materials.
I’ve worked all around the plant site while taking emergency calls to fix equipment.
I have high voltage and low voltage experience along with certification.
I have motor control experience and troubleshooting knowledge under my belt.
Experience with pneumatic valves, actuators, level indicators and understanding of PLC knowledge.
I’ve worked around many sub stations that vary from voltages like 24900kv, 7200v, 4160v and 480v.
I have general knowledge and understanding transformers. Along with knowing how to read electrical schematics.
I’ve done many transformer installs along with making connections and slapping in cut outs to power up transformers. Along with testing to make sure job is complete.
I’ve worked around many electrical power distribution lines to figure out power outages.
I also have experience with installing different types of protection devices from circuit breakers to fused disconnects, and other equipment that requires safety devices.
Overall I carry a total 6 years of electrical experience but I'm still eager to learn and take my skills with a company like NV energy.
