  • Primary duties consists of COMSEC Responsible Officer (CRO) and Information Security Systems Officer (ISSO).
  • Instrumental in support of administering all aspects of the Wing Communications Security (COMSEC) Program to include processing, issuing, and destruction of COMSEC material for all users and sub accounts which accumulates to over 2000 physical and crypto pieces.
  • Expedites the overall shop workload by creating and improving user-friendly checklists, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations. Participates in Staff Assisted Visits (SAVs), assessments, and inspections in all applicable areas. Offers solutions for any deficiencies found so Quality Assurance (QA) standards are met for the shop.
  • Upgrades software/firmware on Simple Key Loaders (SKLs) and Sectera vIPERs. Requests disposition on excess and/or damaged Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI). Updates training for all base-wide CROs, ISSOs, and Secure Voice Responsible Officer (SVROs).
  • Experience in receiving/shipping for the NSA and DCS Courier pertaining to COMSEC/Information Assurance needs.
  • Assists in controlling access to the AFNET network and various classified network systems, manages Wing Cybersecurity training program via local and Air Force DoD policy.
  • Works with required areas to ensure the Authorization and Accreditation (A&A) of the 134 ARW NIPRNet and SIPRNet enclaves are maintained with the required documents, artifacts, and procedures required by AFI and other governing directives.
  • Competent in IA responsibilities pertaining to Transient Electromagnetic Pulse Surveillance Technology(TEMPEST), system/organizational security, network infrastructure, access control, and Remanence Security (REMSEC).

  • Team member of the Windows 10 Migration team 134 ARW at McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base.
  •  Windows 10 duties consist of the issuing, setup/re-imaging, and disposition of the entire base-wide IT allocation(over 1200 machines) to meet the March 2018 NGB deadline.  Created processes to facilitate the overall work load of the team and trained team members on functions performed by the team.
  • Utilizes administrator privileges for base-wide personnel in backing up data/user profiles, downloading software, and reinforcing security measures.
  • Performs all COMSEC, Information Assurance, and Base Equipment Custodian duties when applicable.
  • Vital aide for the COMSEC Account manager (CAM) in preparation for the A6-COMSEC inspection. With the integrated changes, tedious recordkeeping, and various updates helped ensure the main account received zero discrepancies.
  • Assisted the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) with the A&A/RMF packages for the accreditation pertaining to our NIPRNet and SIPRNet enclaves.
  • Aides the the ISSM to apply security prinicples, methods, and security products to protect and maintain the availability, integrity, confidentiality, and accountability of information system resources and the information processed throughout the systems lifecycle.
  • Maintains the current software and firmware versions for all the Simple Key Loaders (SKLs) and Sectera vIPERs on the main COMSEC account.
  • Worked with each unit to complete the annual base-wide IT inventory and composed a successful summary packet for the NGB with zero discrepancies.
  • Backed up all previous work order data for the CIPS/WOMS database transition.  Aides with work order progression requests through AFWAY.
