In my over 3 years as a physician assistant, I have developed a unique skillset of orthopedic knowledge and procedures, while still maintaining my broad knowledge of primary care that I learned in school. I would like to opportunity to combine these two assets to better care for patients in all aspects of their life and health.

Work History
Physician Assistant
Appalachian Orthopedic Associates
Johnson City, TN

I work one on one with a general orthopedic surgeon that specializes in total hip and knee arthroplasty. I provide patient care in clinic setting, manage all post op evaluations, perform skilled injections using ultrasound guidance and palpation, first assist in surgery, skilled suturing, manage medications, manage inpatient patients, maintain a high patient volume, and manage schedules. I work in a very fast pace, high volume setting, and manage a large number of patients. I also work in a walk in setting at times, where I diagnose and treat complex orthopedics injuries and diseases, and take call for JCMC and SSH where I manage acute orthopedic complications and injuries.
