Savannah State University – National Institute of Health (NIH/MBRS RISE) Program; Prostate Cancer Research. (2015-2017)
• Conducted prostate cancer research, to measure and compare the expression levels of GRP78, in prostate cancer cell lines collected from African American and Caucasian men.
• Results concluded that African American men had a higher expression of GRP78 compared to Caucasian men.
• Awarded first place twice, in the LSAMP national conference for research findings.
