• Paired students to help incoming students with questions/concerns and to mentor them throughout the nursing journey.
• Guided each paired mentor and mentee to come together, handled poor communication, and changed mentors if unfitting.
• Worked as communications coordinator to answer emails, social media, and direct needs to faculty and students.

Letter of Commendation 05/2019:

• L&D at St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton; Clinical rotation
• Calling a code white on a neonate infant during clinical hours.
• Informed the RN of the neonate's color and lack of breath, helped to perform CPR, and brought the neonate back to life and recovery.

Critical Care (ICU) Committee Member 2022-Current:

• Working with other staff members to improve unit supplies, staffing concerns, patient care, and addressing necessary concerns or questions from staff.

Precepting/Working with the Education Department St. Marys 2022-2024:

• Working with education personnel to provide new graduates with competency, training, new hire orientation, and skills labs.
• Working as a preceptor within the unit and training new nurses to become competent once on their own.
• Providing time within preceptorship for Masters and extra hours off per week with education personnel creating displays and simulations.
