• Worked one-on-one with children aged two to five with Autism Spectrum Disorder to help develop daily life, social, play, learning, and communication skills.

In the role I work mainly with the school aged children; ages six to twelve during the summer. The responsibilities of this role include:

• Organized engaging activities that encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork among students.

Support for Undergraduate Research Fellows is a program that is designed to help both students and faculty by funding research projects at UW-Milwaukee. The project I work on is called Living for the City. This project focused on telling the stories of Black Americans that live in the Milwaukee areas vias interviews and questionnaires. My responsibilities were as followed:

• Analyzing qualitative interview data.
• Indexing interviews for a digital archive and a traveling exhibit.
• Building a digital archive for interviews and questionnaires to be stored and revisited by later participants.
• Correcting interview transcriptions and coding interview data onto NVIVO.
• Working alongside different staff and department members via team meetings and collaboration efforts.

• Assisted lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.
• Maintained cleanliness and organization of play areas and learning materials.
• Provided seamless transitions between activities throughout the day by adhering closely to established schedules.
• Responsible for janitorial duties throughout the center; including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms and classrooms, restocking supplies, and deep cleaning toys.
• Responsible for culinary duties, including cooking meals, maintaining nutritional standards, and providing snacks to children.
