I Ran a horse farm ordered Feed ,paid bills ,handled stable management ,held horses for vets , when an emergency arises , assisted equine dentist , gave medication’s intramuscular shots, Held nervous horses for the Farrier and trained horses under Saddle. . I have done this since 1974 when I graduated from More Park international equestrian Institute in Leesburg, Virginia as a licensed “A” rated horse trainer, coach, and stable manager This (Victamar Dressage) was the last facility I worked at before I retired due to the dangers of riding untrained horses at my age It was a good time to retire unscathed
I also volunteered at both Brookhaven town shelter as well as briefly Southampton I Provided hospice care for a senior dog, (from Little shelter in Huntington ensuring comfort during his final eight months.
a lifetime of working with large and small animals now as a Retired and very physically fit person because of my lifestyle I would love to just do something part time and help at a quick pace veterinarian office My daughter is an office manager at the Moriches hospital for animals, but I prefer not to work under my child lol
I have trained students from seven years old through advance levels to receive their bronze metal ,starting from scratch with horses that were never handled before All of my students have been grand champions, in all of their divisions, which I’m very proud of my ability to not just ride and train, ,but to verbally explain how to make a successful competitive rider starting with children and adults that have never ridden before
