Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)

• Interpreted Swan-Ganz (PA catheter) data to assess preload, afterload, cardiac output, and mixed venous saturation, using parameters to guide fluid and drug therapy

• Independently titrated and managed vasoactive infusions, including norepinephrine, vasopressin, nicardipine, and sedation/paralytics (propofol, dexmedetomidine, cisatracurium) to meet individualized targets for hemodynamic and neurologic stability
• Interpreted advanced hemodynamic monitoring data using pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central venous pressure lines, and FloTrac systems to guide fluid resuscitation and pressor titration
• Provided ventilator management for patients on complex modes of mechanical ventilation, including APRV and PRVC, in collaboration with respiratory therapists
• Monitored and managed Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) in unstable post-operative and trauma patients, including anticoagulation management and lab interpretation
