Graduated from Universidad Central Del Ecuador with a major in ESOL. Over 33 years of experience in teaching English and Spanish, including 13 years in Ecuador and 20 years in South Carolina and Georgia. Authored four educational books and presented at the SREB National Conference, highlighting student success in communication skills. Recognized as Teacher of the Month in April 2017 and awarded Teacher of the Year for 2024-2025 for exceptional contributions to student achievement.
As a Spanish teacher I oversaw two programs:
the Spanish Exploratory for students of Sixth and Seventh grade and the High School Spanish I class for 8th grade honor students.
Have been involved in administering multiple state tests.
Have coached and assistant coached middle school volleyball.
Have assisted with the Drama club.
