Summary

I started as a new graduate nurse in September of 2023 at Te Whatu Ora Canterbury in operating theatre, I thoroughly enjoyed my role as a theatre registered nurse. Whilst I was there I was able to do a lot of professional development which strengthened my natural abilities to care for patients. I developed critical skills in high-pressure healthcare environments, focusing on patient care, communication, and teamwork. I am now looking to transition into a new field, bringing proficiency in handling medical emergencies and patient interactions. With aims to leverage these transferrable skills to contribute effectively in a new professional setting.
