Projects:

• Migration from traditional IBM InfoSphere DataStage (v11.5/11.7) to Next-Generation DataStage on Cloud Pak for Data transforms an on-premises, server-bound ETL tool into a cloud-native, microservices-driven integration platform. This transition modernizes data operations by leveraging Red Hat OpenShift to run workloads across any hybrid or multi-cloud environment.
• Migration of legacy Informatica payloads to Apache Airflow and Apache Spark shifts data integration from a proprietary, GUI-driven ETL system into a cloud-native, open-source engineering ecosystem
• Migration of legacy processing and analytical platforms like (DataStage, Informatica, SAS, and Teradata BTEQ.. etc.,) to a Big Data ecosystem like Hadoop, HDFS, and Hive consolidates siloed, high-cost, proprietary technologies into a single, unified, open-source distributed big data lake
• Migration of targeted online workloads from IBM DB2 to SingleStore to offload resource-heavy transactional and operational analytics traffic from the primary mainframe or enterprise DB2 instance to a distributed, in-memory hybrid database

Responsibilities:

• Strategically architect, design, develop, and implement efficient information systems and/or operations systems in support of core enterprise functions.
• Creating high-level and low-level system designs, blueprints, and frameworks that ensure software and hardware scale effectively.
• Understand business requirements, study existing application landscape, and identify redundant/ineffective systems. Conceptualize technical solutions to complex problems and maximize benefit of IT systems investments.
• Work closely with clients to gain organizational commitment for all systems and software plans, as well as evaluate and guide the selection of technologies required to complete those plans.
• Diagnosing complex system bottlenecks, evaluating software risks, and guiding teams through technical roadblocks
• Coordinate with offshore development team(s) to identify priorities and update scope and delivery schedule.
• Create data migration/system integration strategies. Monitor system performance to detect and resolve problems during deployment and support change management
• Developed technical architecture plans and documented them for implementation.
• Analyzed system performance post-migration, recommending improvements for efficiency enhancements.

As part of the Integrations support (ETL/ESB), team will provide L2 and L3 support 24/7/365 to BELK’s ESB (WMB 8.0/IIB V10 (future), Data power and ETL Datastage and Talend. Need to provide environment maintenance such as patch installation, processing error messages and error queues, preventive checks and monitoring, message reprocessing, manage exceptions and report activities across both prod and non-prod environments.

Responsibilities:

● Provide 7x24 L2, L3 Support & Maintenance of the IBM Datastage, Talend, WMB (Future IIB), MQ, MQFTE, Data Power environments.

● Handle Escalations from Level 1, 1.5 and perform detailed issues / Incident Tracking.

● Routine Health Check and associated Maintenance activities.

● Performance Tuning & Complex Maintenance tasks.

● Environment Setup / Release Management Activities related to the Various Projects.

● Setting up / Configuring Projects in Version Management and Configuration Management tools.

● Resolve L2, L3 Incidents and provide status update to Stake holders.

● Root Cause Analysis and Remediation for Sev1, Sev2, and Sev3 issues & associated progress reporting.

Project CRH (Customer Relationship Hub) consolidates the CDM and C&RA applications into a single platform. This includes consolidation of data sourcing and building a single customer relationship hub for all customer, relationship and indicator data, where the processes run on the Vertica – IIS Datastage - Hadoop Ecosystem and the data being pushed and made available on the Teradata Platform for the users.

Responsibilities:

● Perform Requirement gathering, analyze, design, develop, test and deploy the application conversion

● Detailed study of the functionality of various systems across CDM and C&RA Applications

● Propose architectural solutions for application simplification and also data modeling to achieve effective way of storing data that ensures easy maintenance

● Develop design documents for the development and enhancement initiatives

● Design the approach and sequence for retiring the legacy customer systems and components

● Design the approach and sequence for migrating the Customer data in the retiring legacy systems to various systems in Customer System Application with next-gen technologies

● Design ETL processes in Datastage to load data across Vertica, Hadoop and Teradata on the Data Warehouse and compare the results

● Maintain data related to various process on Hadoop to be compliant with enterprise data management policies

● Design and develop disaster recovery environment in hot - hot and hot - cold approach to support data center upgrade and movement without impacting application business

● Perform System Integrated Testing, Performance testing and User Acceptance testing

● Implement the code in production with support teams

CDM (Customer Data Mart) and C&RA (Customer & relationship application) are the primary customer centric application supporting customer and the relationship data. Key applications which drive our customer facing strategies and interactions in marketing, modeling, credit authorization, banking centers etc.,

Responsibilities:

● Perform Requirement gathering, analyze, design, develop, test and deploy various projects to meet critical and time driven business requirements seamlessly

● Detailed study of the functionality of various systems across Customer System Application

● Propose architectural solutions for application simplification and also data modeling to achieve effective way of storing data that ensures easy maintenance

● Develop design documents for the development and enhancement initiatives

● Design Mainframe jobs to load data into Teradata operational and Analytics platform

● Perform System Integrated Testing, Performance testing and User Acceptance testing

● Implement the code in production with support teams
