Designed, developed and maintain .in-house developed .NET applications including the Sheriff Information Management System (SIMS), the Sheriff Incident Reporting System (SIRS), Sheriff Inmate Programs (SIP) and many other applications for the Adult Detention Center (ADC). Work closely with Sheriff personnel to maintain systems, apply upgrade modifications and monitor several interfaces between applications such as the ADC medical records system (SPARK) and SIMS exchanging data every 5 minutes. Designed, developed and maintained an in-house application used by the Criminal Justice Academy to schedule classes and allow users, inside and outside county employees, to register. Participated in team selecting a COTS solution to replace SIMS. Designed, developed and distributed SQL Server naming standards and communication plans for new development. Participated in requirements gathering, design specifications, and construction of new applications. Mentored peers on design/development methods and unfamiliar technologies.
