  • I managed 4 different locations during my tenure, so of them were simultaneous.
  • Frank Kent CDJR and Chevrolet for approximately 1.3 years. we were successful in bringing the store from massive losses to making a profit while gaining huge market share.
  • Frank Kent Cadillac FW for approximately 1 year. I was asked to move to this location after the store experienced a sizable loss in revenue and market share. by the end of 2020, we had managed to exceed our RSI and show impressive gains in net profit for the year.
  • Frank Kent Cadillac Arlington. We purchased this store from Grp1 and took over January 11th of 2021. The dealership had sold approximately 240 new cars the prior year and struggled with net and market share. We experienced 3 years of incredible growth, taking the store from less than 50% RSI to 139% in 2024. We took the store from 240 to 900 in '24! this earned us the "Master Dealer" award, only given to a handful of dealers nationally. We were then tasked with a 1005 objective for 2025 and currently ahead of last years pace.

to sum it up, we purchased the store for 2.5 million in 2021, its now valued at 17 to 19 million dollars and recognized nationally as a top 10 store in the SCR through 2024.

After leaving my partnership with VanTuyl, I worked for a few public companies in Texas and Florida.

  • Partner Orr Toyota. This turned into a flip after 1.5 years, we purchased the dealership at an "underperforming" price then sold to a company out of Houston at a considerable profit. We took the store from 14 out of 14 to top 5 in the DFW market.
  • Brandon Kia, an Asbury dealership was also terribly underperforming we I took over. We took this store to the top 3 in the Tampa market which was extremely competitive with competitors like Fuccillo and others big market share dealers.
  • I eventually joined the Morgan team and back to Toyota. I was offered a Toyota store in lake city that was in disarray. The store was in a small market with 12 dealerships, in spite of the challenges, we managed to grab a large portion of market share.

01.2012 - 10.2013
  • I was invited to join the VT organization based on my relationships at the company. This was also an underperforming store and I was the 5th GM to take the store. We brought the store to a 132% RSI in the market, making it the fastest growing Nissan store in the DFW area and on our way to catching Trophy Nissan(number 1 in the country at the time.)
  • March of 2012 was at the time, the largest net profit of the the stores history at 770k. This brought LVT and company to the store for a dinner and congrats for the team!
  • I was one of a handful of GMs to receive service YOY improvement my second year and a platinum ring to wear as well.

  • I was 20% partner at Toyota of Irving, it had fallen to last place in the market over the years and was on the chopping block as I entered the picture. We spent a lot of time reviewing and redoing the marketing in the store, rebranding it and the started selling cars. It took about 18 months to re-earn inventory and begin the task of taking back our market, eventually raising it to nearly 200% RSI in the DFW market. We literally brought this store from obscurity to one of the top performers nationally! We won every award imaginable including the coveted "Presidents Award" twice!
  • I was offered a partnership at the behest of GST, to help nuture the legacy of the family business as the dealers son learned the business. They are a wonderful family and I would do it all over again if I could!
