  • LANXESS - Southwest AR: PHA - Technical Design engineer. The purpose of this project was to design solutions for capital improvements using the results of a client-provided process hazard analysis. This project involved routing a new phthalic anhydride line to a facility building, which required 3D modelling and design, pipe stress analysis, isometric drawings, PID drafting, pipe support design, and multi-disciplinary collaboration. This project also required liaising closely with the client to provide frequent updates on deliverable status.
  • JHC RAM - Olive, MI: ASHCOR - Equipment Engineer and Technical Design Engineer. The purpose of this project was to propose, design, and construct a greenfield fly ash milling and processing facility over the course of 2 FEL phases, while also handling management and procurement tasks, such as scheduling, budget management, vendor procurement, and acting as a client-contractor liaison. The equipment utilized in this project involved conveyor chains and belts, rotary valves, attritor mills, dilute and dense phase pneumatic conveyors, baghouses, silos, electrostatic separators, and powder truck loading equipment.
  • Standard Lithium - Southwest AR: SWA Well Field FEED - Lead Equipment and Technical Design Engineer. The purpose of this project was to develop several greenfield lithium brine extraction well pads from conceptual design to TIC estimate - project conceptualization, process design, equipment and vendor selection, technical and commercial bid tab evaluations, pipeline design, HAZOP and, material selection and evaluation.
  • Full Cycle Waste Solutions - Pratt, KS: ASR Pyrolysis Value - Process design, consult, and TIC evaluation of in place upgrade for the separation unit of a pyrolysis recycling facility. The purpose of this project was to research, design, and optioneer a solution with Full Cycle Waste Solutions to optimize their recycle fluff separation system. This was done by implementing a series of separation equipment such as grinders, shaking screeners, magnetic and air-blade separators, quoted by various vendors, and combined into a TIC estimate for the client.
  • Domtar - Ashdown, AR: #2 Fiberline Screenroom & Knotters - Onsite assessment of existing piping and P&ID walkdown. The purpose of this project was to walkdown the piping onsite for the paper mill's fiberline screenroom equipment, develop datasheets for ancillary equipment, piping and pump flow analysis, perform piping stress analysis, and develop tie-in, specialty item, and piping line lists. These and other deliverables were used to develop a mechanical construction package to be passed on to a contractor.
  • Domtar - Ashdown, AR: Power Boiler #3 Superheater Replacement: Coordinated with the mill to plan process, selection of equipment, and scope of work to replace a power boiler superheater. The purpose of this project was to replace equipment, including the superheater itself, ancillary piping, superheater pendants and thermocouples, as well as attemperator piping. Additionally, involving the installation of a pyrometer for furnace temperature measurement.
  • Calumet Specialty Products - Princeton, LA: Princeton Feedstock Separation - 3D scanning and construction package to separate overhead cut and side draw diesel/naphtha product and tie in new tank and separate line for naphtha feedstock product.
  • Aethon Energy - Bland Lake, TX: Bland Lake Momentum Interconnect - Supported the design of new slug catchers and tank outflow restriction orifices within piping.
  • Calumet Specialty Products - Shreveport, LA: LOHT HPWW Pumps Upgrade - Sized positive displacement pumps and piping for a high-pressure wash water service.
  • Hunt Forest Products - Pollock, LA: Secondary Boiler Feedwater Supply - Development of construction package and operator deliverables of valve operation for secondary boiler feedwater supply pumps.
  • Domtar - Ashdown, AR: Chip Meter Drive Upgrade - Diagnostic support of an existing double screw chip meter, and liaison between vendor and client to facilitate upgrade of the equipment.
