I worked as a Sous Chef during the summers of my Junior and Senior year of high school at the Minocqua Country Club. While I was there, I learned how to enhance team performance and please patrons with high-quality meals and learned valuable team communication skills. I have a love for the outdoors from the numerous outward-bound trips I participated in during the summers of my Freshman and sophomore years, such as sea kayaking the Apostle Islands and Lake Nipigon. I am skilled in backcountry cooking and adept at demonstrating leadership skills in high-stress environments. I am currently pursuing a degree in Ecology with minors in environmental science and outdoor recreation at Colorado Mesa University.
