Violet Gorsuch

Studio 8100 transfer dance student/ competitive dancer. VVAD Repertory Company Member. Current Altitude Team Dance Member. Trains as soloist and ensemble performer with variety of local and urban choreographers. Extensive 20-25 hours/ week training commitment on top of in-season rehearsal and competition schedule. Competitive experience includes solo, duet, trio, and group dances in tap, ballet, pointe, ballroom, jazz, musical theater, hip hop, and contemporary. Recipient of numerous individual and group awards and individual national scholarships, overall soloist placement recognition, multiple Stand Out Judges Awards at Nuvo, 24/7, Jump, Radix, Bravo, Showstoppers, PAC, NYCDA.

Auditioned and trained under Sandra Rubio. Selected as chosen student to work as soloist with one of Lady Gaga's dancers/ choreographers from Los Angeles. Competed in statewide and national competitions in senior small group tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. Won various adjudication and high placement specialty judges awards for group and solo dances, including Nuvo, 24/7, Streetz, Showstoppers Break Out Artist Awards and Team Scholarships.

Actor. Worked as part of professional theater ensemble under direction of Jennifer Rincon. Performed in improv and staged production with Bill Pullman in downtown Denver.

Child actor. Earned Screen Actors Guild (SAG) card for role in film; shot on location in Utah; experience with casting agent, costume designer, director and producer.
